Dave first and foremost loves to write in the third person, he is originally from Orlando, FL, where he turned down offer after offer to join a boyband and instead tried his hand at the much more lucrative career of  “Improv Comedy,” learning under the tutelage of Wayne Brady (yes, that Wayne Brady). After attending Depaul University’s Theatre School on an acting scholarship, he honed his acting, improv, and comedy chops in the Chicago comedy scene, performing on IO Chicago and The Second City stages. 

Since moving to Los Angeles, Dave’s career began in the writer’s room, helping to launch the digital department of Comedy Central under viral video director Brandon Dermer (What Would Diplo Do?). After writing and producing for companies like SONY, HULU, MOVIE PILOT, WORDS WITH FRIENDS LIVE, and THE ONION, he became Senior Producer of Creators Media’s number one Facebook Watch show “Super News Live” (500K + subscribers).

He is the Co-Creator/Writer for the hit YouTube series “Right Now with John Goblikon,” also playing the title character (shhh, it’s a secret), which led to a book deal with Rarebird Books called, "John Goblikon's Guide To Living Your Best Life," which is currently being developed into a 1/2 hour sitcom with CBS Television & 3 Arts Ent. In addition, he is the official host of Cinemark Movie Theaters doing all their red carpets and movie junkets and he just wrapped an episode of the hit procedural drama ALL RISE which is slated to air in early 2023!
